The famous psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich inferred that we are responsible for blocking our own energy to defend against unwanted feelings or impulses. So basically, we have full control of our inner thoughts and actions that can lead to having an effect in how we feel. Times like the present when we are all going through a shift in the world that has never been seen before has been a big adjustment, to say the least! How do we deal with the anxiety of the unknown? We often hear advice about “meditating”, “sitting in silence”, “eating better” to lift our energy to a more positive vibration...but what does this all really mean...the reality is that we all are different which may mean we have different mechanisms that appeal to each of us. The Ametti Wellbeing Energy Encounter expert Raj Barker from the famous fitness studio called The Class and Fashion Photographer Christina Emilie shared actionable tips on how to control your inner energy and alter it while at work and at home that were helpful in answering these questions. We spent an evening connecting with the unknown of our external environment by listening to our internal systems, voice, and senses because health looks different for everybody. The key is to understand that meditation looks different for everyone - it might not always be the traditional approach of sitting down for an hour in silence.
